About jccAbacus Blog

Hello World!

This blog is an alter ego of my personal jccAbacus website on traditional and advanced techniques used with the Japanese / Chinese abacus: i.e. the soroban / suanpan.

Accordingly, jccAbacus contains two main sections with articles written by me:

  • Traditional techniques, devoted to what I have learned about techniques used in the past and that contrast with the current teaching of the abacus (Modern Method).
  • Advanced abacus algorithms, some methods that I have personally developed and that might be of interest to others.
The jccAbacus website is still under construction and writing, but it already has enough material to open it to the public.
